NELSON UPDATE

The Nelson's are excited that we have been able to see each other. Taelin and Jen got to come and see me my birthday and now I get to go back to Boise for Christmas. The lord has blessed us a lot. Taelin is getting crazy big and runs all over the place. His favorites are playing with Macie Mae and tricking people whenever he can. I have no idea why he is so mischievous... Where on earth did he learn to be like that? WE may never know. I am almost done with MOS school and will recieve my orders soon, so stay tuned on where we will be stationed. Hope everyone is having a blast MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL...

Cameron Nelson Lewis

Cameron enjoys spending time with his family. He loves to put together the marble run, and watch the excitement of the children as the marbles roll down. He also enjoys studying and looking at architecture and materials. He works for the Forest Service as an architect. One of his favorite parts of his job, is when he travels to McCall, ID. He has the opportunity to visit with Nana and Papa. Cameron has three children, Morgan, Porter, and Annie.

Karter Donald Nelson

Karter Donald Nelson
Dec. 6, 2010 ~ 4:36 pm
7 lbs 15 oz ~ 19 1/2 in
Proud Parents: Kyle & Brooks
Our handsome baby boy FINALLY arrived on Monday, December 6th. So far he's been such a good baby. Kylie loves holding him and Kody loves rubbing his cheeks, because they're so soft. He has lots of dark hair, so far his eyes are blue and he has long feet. His pediatrician says he's headed for size 14 or 15 shoes. Maybe he'll be tall too?
I have loved him since I found out I was pregnant, but it's amazing how much that love has grown in such a short amount of time. He is so precious and we are so grateful to have him in our family.

All ready to go home!

Reunion Updates - 07/10/10

Dear Family,
We are a week away from the reunion and everyone is working hard to make sure it goes well. Here are a couple of things that need clarified and a couple of items that I really could use help with.

1 - Hamburger cook-off - It has been brought to my attention that I didn't explain this very well so I am going to try again. As I read what I wrote it sure didn't sound very clear. So here goes!!!! I will provide hamburger (enough for the dinner). If you would like to share a recipe that you make or want to try something new bring enough ingredients for 1 to 2 pounds of hamburger. We will then have everyone choose what they like and I have some prizes to hand out. I am thinking of making the burgers - Slider size so you can try several. This is only if you want to share something. Otherwise you have to just eat what I make!!!! Is this clear as mud????

2 - There is not alot of furniture in Grandma's house. I suggest you bring camping chairs to sit on.

3 - Sunday Breakfast for those at the house - I will have cold cereal. One kind don't know what it is yet but if you are picky I suggest to bring something else.

4 - DOES ANYONE HAVE A BBQ THAT THEY COULD BRING? WE REALLY NEED ONE FOR SATURDAY NIGHT!!!!! IF YOU COULD HELP ME OUT I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!!!!

5 - SNACKS ---- IF EVERYONE COULD BRING TWO OR THREE ITEMS THAT COULD BE THROWN ON A SNACK TABLE FOR EVERYONE TO SHARE THAT WOULD BE GREAT!!!!! THANKS---HOPEFULLY WE WILL GET A GOOD VARIETY. I AM BRINGING POPCORN FOR MOVIE NIGHTS.

6 - DRINKS-----THERE WILL BE JUICE AT BREAKFAST AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT FOR DINNER BUT DRINKS FOR ANY OTHER TIME DURING THE DAY PLEASE PROVIDE WHAT YOU LIKE TO DRINK FOR YOUR FAMILY.

THERE MAY BE MORE BEFORE THE WEEK IS UP!!!!

Family Reunion

Just a couple of notes about the House we are using. Everyone will need to bring air matresses because there are no beds. At this point of the 4 bedrooms I have ReNea and myself in one, Jennie, Taelin, Tyler and Heidi in another, Jackie in one and Clarrissa in one. There is still plenty of room in the bonuse room for people to sleep. Also those that are camping can use the bathrooms. There are 3 of them and 2 showers and 1 bathtub. We are bringing a microwave to warm up things. There is also a frig, stove, and dishwaher.

I will be assigning meal to the brothers and sisters this week end. So there shouldn't be a major burden on any one person or family.

Last point please be aware that there will be NO PETS allowed in the house!!!!! Thanks for your understanding.

See you all soon.

Wes

Kyle Nelson Family

Well, I haven't done a very good job of keeping everyone up on how we are doing. We are still in Logan, Kyle is doing well in school. He did get laid off in January but we are doing fine. He found a job that he hates but it's better than what he had......nothing. haha While Kelsey was up this last weekend she got a few pictures of us all. Here are a few of us.Kylie will be 6 on May 16th. She is taking ballet right now and just started soccer. She scored 3 goals in her last game and her coach is very impressed with her soccer skills. Especially where she has never played before. She'll be playing her 2nd year of T-ball this summer and can't wait. She loves to be outdoors and be with her family & friends. She went with me to help my dad brand cows over the weekend and she spent the whole time on the horses. She doesn't get to ride much anymore because we hardly ever go to Tremonton, so she really enjoyed her time on the horses. Kody will be 4 in October. He is such a fun little boy and has a very active imagination. His favorite toys are Woody and Buzz Lightyear. He can't wait for Toy Story 3 to come out. He is growing up so fast. He used to give me kisses every time I asked for one and now I practically have to beg for them. I miss the days when he would wrap his chubbby little arms around my neck and give me a great big kiss. He's not a baby anymore, that's for sure.
Here is Kylie making a goal at her last soccer game. She loves it and has so much fun playing. I love watching her and I'm so glad I signed her up for it even though I didn't really want to. And last, but certainly not least, Baby Nelson is due sometime around December 11th. We are so excited and the kids can't wait. We walked past the baby toy isle at Walmart last week and they started picking up toys asking if we could get it for our new baby, it took me at least 5 minutes to get them off that isle. It was a nice change though, usually they are asking for toys for themselves. It's nice of them to think of someone else once in a while.
Anyways that's about all we have going on for now. We hope you are all doing well.

Love ya! Kyle, Brooks, Kylie & Kody
